It was a full house at the 2013 annual Christmas Workshop on Wednesday, November 27th. Tickets went on sale at 7:00 p.m.and the workshop began at 7:30. Convenor Rosemary Campbell had spent many hours putting the materials together- from cutting the ribbons, wrapping the container in green foil, and organizing cones, glittery amaranthus, etc. Earlier, Rosemary and her committee of Bonnie Warner, Joyce Smith, and Eileen Fisher had gathered osier dogwood, white and red pine, and blue spruce to use in the decoration, which could be used outside as an urn insert, or inside as a centerpiece. Social Convenor, Mary Schippers, had arranged for a delicious snack for after the workshop, which was enjoyed by all. The participants went home happy with their designs. The Society would like to thank Rosemary for all of her work, the people who assisted her with the workshop, and all who stayed to help clean up. It was a good evening and a great way to start off the Christmas season.
